Marina Sachs is an artist and educator. Working in her primary mediums, 35mm photography and silkscreen, she deals with femininity, commodification, repetition, and endurance. Since 2015, she has spearheaded a restorative justice project, Lakota Youth Speak, on the Cheyenne River Reservation, where she partners with Lakota adolescents to produce programming focused on mental health, cultural preservation, and food sovereignty.
